For generations, art has been the literal centerpiece of human creativity, expression, imagination, beauty, emotional power, or conceptual ideas. Artists throughout the great art movements from east to west, with their masterpieces and craftsmanship have laid the foundation of great human art that has inspired and defined human civilization through the present.
The rapid advances in technology in the past 100 years especially has allowed for limitless creative expression in different pursuits, from commercial to political, industrial and architectural design, and in the pursuit of art itself. More recently, human art comes face to face with Artificial Intelligence.
It took years for the great artists to achieve the grandeur of their masterpieces. Nowadays, art can be produced in mere minutes.

What exactly is an A.I.-generated art? What are its practical uses?
A.I. art is created using algorithms, mathematical equations, and machine learning, and can be produced quickly and in large quantities. Among the practical uses of AI art is it can fit perfectly in tech trends and has been used for different industries. AI art can also help artists create beautiful and captivating visuals and it can also create job opportunities.
In addition, AI art is applied also in education aspects as its algorithms are used to enhance teaching materials. Poetry and literature are also included in their practical uses as it generates texts. Lastly, entertainment purposes such as video games have been made also through AI-generated art.

Distinguishing AI from human-made art
In contrast, human-made art is created using emotional expression, intuition, and personal experiences. It conveys the artist’s unique perspective. It is thus highly subjective and takes time to create.
Both have their own unique characteristics that differentiate them. AI art can sometimes be accurate and consistent or complex in its execution, unique, efficient, and cost-effective. However, it lacks the personal touch, emotion, and individual style that makes human art so unique.
On the other hand, human art can be disproportional and reflect a wider range of styles, from abstract to impressionism to expressionism. Additionally, AI art is often photorealistic or surreal, while human art may vary in its representation. These differences are a big help to distinguish the two forms of art and highlight the distinct qualities of each.

Can A.I. art replace traditional human art?
Without a doubt, AI, can produce fantastic artwork emulating greatness, including the masterpieces of le crème de la crème of great painters mankind has ever known. BUT it can never compete with human creativity, without a soul and emotion.
It is clear that AI has the potential to transform the art world, yet, the full extent of its impact remains to be seen and raises intriguing questions about the future of artistic expression.
To be sure, AI has a firm place in art for commercial and industrial pursuits.
Regardless of whether AI art is considered more eccentric than the traditional form, it is critical to explore the vast endless possibilities and potential it brings to the table, but only in the hands of inspired human creators of course.
